Hello Family and Friends,
“This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” This is also the year that the Lord has made. This year has hit us with some unexpected and very difficult challenges. However, this is still The Year of Progress. I believe that God is using the challenges we are facing to draw us closer to Him so that the “new thing” He desires for each one of us might come to pass.
I encourage you to join me this week on meditating on Hebrews 12:1-4. This week as a church family, along with our friends, let us allow Hebrews 12:1-4 to find a resting place in our hearts that it might provide us with guidance, comfort and strength. With all that is going on, my soul still declares that “He has done great things for me.” I pray that you feel the same way.
Thank you for your continuing support of Mount Olive through your prayers, tithes and offerings and virtual participation.
On a personal note, I want to say thank you to Mount Olive for your tremendous outpouring of love and support for my family during our time of bereavement. I ask that you continue to pray for us as God continues to do His miraculous work of mending our broken hearts. Again, thank you for your love and support and I pray that God will bless you for being a blessing to us. Please remember this, “For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister” (Hebrews 6:10).
